Elliot Lake Men of Song

A mens singing group from Elliot Lake Ontario. We perform a wide range of sacred, secular and barber shop songs and appear on a voluntary basis at nursing homes, hospitals, churches, community centres and special events. Rehearsal every Wednesday evening at 7pm. September to May in the basement of Trinity United Church on Hillside North. You do not have to be formally trained, just love to sing and are able to keep on pitch.See you there!

I was speaking with Kevin McSheffrey this afternoon from The Standard and he is looking for a replacement to write the Arts Column.
Compensation would be $25 per article.  This is published every two weeks.

Funeral for Mike Trakas

The funeral for Mike will be held at 11.00am on Wednesday, 14th. April at St. Peters Anglican church on Hillside South and Roman Ave.
Men of Song have been asked to sing Welcome Table during the service. Please attend in uniform if you are available.

SAD NEWS

Jean 'phoned this afternoon to inform Men of Song that Mike Trakas passed away today, victim of a coronary.
There will be a funeral and quite possibly we will be asked to sing at the ceremony.
