Hey Everyone, I am letting you all know about a FREE Music and Arts Festival being hosted by the Katimavik Group at Westview park on August 11th, 2010 between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

The festival is a celebration of music and arts and will have live music and artists displaying their work for either exposure or sale.  Katimavik is looking for artists who are interested in displaying their work during the festival, the entry is free and all sales are retained by the artists.  They are willing to accept all mediums of art.  If you are interested in setting up a display at the festival you can either, email me at arielgroup@live.com, call me at 461-3297 or call Katimavik directly at 848-3300, or email them at katimavik.el@gmail.com.

In addition they are looking for bands and performances from community members who would be willing to entertain the crowd.  So far they have Ponto playing at the show and they are looking for more performances.  If you are interested in performing at the festival you can again, either, email me at arielgroup@live.com, call me at 461-3297 or call Katimavik directly at 848-3300, or email them at katimavik.el@gmail.com.
